Attitude & Aptitude are the two main areas in which a technocrat should be strong. In building the aptitude skills of all MITians Computer Society works in association with Personality Development Association of MIT. By a collaborative effort we conduct PDA-CS Aptitude Test on every thursday. The questions framed based on the MNC standards for placement procedures, test the analytical skills, logical reasoning, data interpretation and verbal skills of the student. By attending this test repeatedly each MITian gets regular practice and familiarity with the written tests. We make our students to feel confident while meeting their placements.
Any student organisation can conduct general-aptitude tests. But we are the Computer Society! Some sort of uniqueness should be there! Yes...we do that! In these tests we incorporate questions from C with various levels of difficulties. We include the questions which are frequently asked in interviews. We are planning to add questions based on GNU/Linux applications & general computer information in upcoming tests.
We provide the answer key for questions as soon as the test gets over. The details of the students with high scores are displayed in every notice boards and finally they are awarded with prizes and certificates. And we make each student to get their marks through the class representatives. This motivates each person to compete in the race. By requisition, discussion classes for the questions are also arranged after every test.
A slow learner learns new stuffs. A brighter student sharpens his/her skills. So on every thursday an MITian may forget to breathe, eat and sleep. But he/she never forgets PDA-CS APTIDUTE TEST!
