Sharing of computer knowledge is the main aim of Computer Society. In proving this, the students with high profile in a particular domain, share their technical excellence with the students who are new to that domain.For this endeavor we use weekly sessions in a great manner. Usually senior students take the sessions. Here, no professers! No conditions! So, the students who feel shy to ask doubts to staffs in the classrooms, are free to discuss the things here. Especially tamil medium students get immense help.

Monday: C Session

Though students from all branches study C language in their first semester, they don't learn the entire stuff. To cover all the concepts in each & every topic, C sessions are conducted. Typical questions which are frequently asked in placements & symposiums are concentrated.

Tuesday: GNU/Linux Session

In the system level, explanation of kernel and execution of various commands are explored. In the application level, from the installation to the high end utilisation of multiple GNU/Linux packages are discussed. Live demos are given using LCD projector. Sometimes special seesions are conducted by professionals from AU-KBC research centre.

Wednesday: Branch oriented classes

Info-Tech Stream:

Core subjects like data structures,algorithms are being explained. And typical problem is given and students are encouraged to design an efficient algorithm. By requisition, some special classes are arranged to discuss lab exercises.

Mech Stream:

Softwares like PRO-E,CATIA are not being taught as part of the curriculam, but they are needed by the mechanical students.That kind of things are found and discussed.To explain these softwares, computers are provided individually.So that students learn the technology easily.

Circuit Stream:

The softwares used in electronics domain like MATLAB, OCTAVE, GNSIM, etc., are explored.

These sessions are the perfect platforms to interact with intelligents. Finally speaking it's not a one way communication;it's a multiway communication to attain the excellence!
